General Return Policy

We want customers to be satisfied with their purchase. However, return eligibility depends on the type of product ordered.

Made-to-Order Apparel

Some Black Sash apparel items may be produced through print-on-demand or made-to-order fulfillment.

Because these products are created after purchase, they may not be eligible for return or exchange unless the item arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

  • Misprinted

  • The wrong size or color due to fulfillment error

Customer ordering mistakes, including selecting the wrong size, color, or quantity, may not qualify for a refund or replacement.

Gear, Equipment, and Accessories

Return eligibility for martial arts gear, uniforms, sparring gear, training equipment, and accessories may vary depending on the product and supplier.

Items must generally be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with packaging when applicable.

Items that show signs of use, training wear, damage, washing, or customer misuse may not be accepted for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return:

  • Worn or used apparel

  • Washed items

  • Custom or made-to-order products

  • Digital downloads

  • Opened or used protective gear

  • Items damaged by customer misuse

  • Products missing original packaging or tags

  • Clearance or final sale items, if marked final sale

Digital Products

Digital products, ebooks, PDFs, printable guides, downloadable files, and Payhip products are generally non-refundable once purchased or downloaded.

If you experience a technical issue accessing a digital product, contact us and we will help resolve the issue.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item

  • Photos of the packaging

  • A clear description of the issue

We will review the claim and determine whether a replacement, refund, or other solution is appropriate.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method when possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Shipping costs may not be refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be limited depending on product availability, fulfillment provider, and product type.

For made-to-order apparel, size exchanges may not be available unless the wrong item was sent due to fulfillment error.
